Japjot Singh (he/him) is an India-born interior designer who graduated from G.D Goenka University, in India. Currently in his first year of the Inclusive design (M.Des) at OCAD University, he is exploring the untapped potential of public spaces to activate them and enhance their inclusivity. He has experience in designing residential and commercial spaces to enhance the utility by focusing on emotional needs rather than merely aesthetics.

As a member of the group, he explored the biophilic aspect of space by bringing in nature not only via space design but also by helping the patients to grow their own set of virtual plants by using the app “Nurture”. His background in designing spaces was the main motivator towards creating the functionality and spatial model of the project and design the core graphics of the co-design session which lets the participants create their own patient room by using different interior elements.
