Christine Woolley is an art director with over a decade of experience in a variety of sectors, including graphic and communications design, industrial design and environmental design. She is a Certified Graphic Designer (CGD) with a keen interest in providing opportunities for equitable access to public information. Christine earned a Bachelor of Arts from the University of British Columbia and a 2D Design certificate from Emily Carr University of Art + Design and is currently pursuing a Master of Design in Inclusive Design at OCAD University.

Christine is currently integrating inclusive design practices into her corporate work where she is developing standards for access and inclusion within the design discipline as well as at the organizational leadership level to better support employee achievement and well-being. Her academic research lies at the intersection of print-based graphic design, accessibility design, design education and policy and legislation.

Her work in Lab 2 involved collaborating with the team on initial prototyping, design brief development and co-design planning and implementation. She ideated a “Nurse Uber” app as a possible solution to the communication pinpoints gleaned from participants and developed an initial lo-fi prototype storyboard. Christine facilitated the class co-design session and co-facilitated the participant co-design session. During the sessions, Christine validated the literature review and one-on-one interview findings and was able to uncover new information and pinpoints.
